JGU Teaching Award

The GTC presents the JGU Teaching Award since the winter semester 2016/17. Every three semesters JGU’s ten faculties and two art schools have the right to nominate two persons who particularly commit themselves to outstanding, innovative teaching. The award procedure takes place at the same time as the course assessment, which is conducted by the Center for Quality Assurance and Development (ZQ) through comprehensive surveys among all students. The assessment can serve as the basis for the selection of the teaching award winner.

The teaching award comes with a cash prize of 1,000 € (for official purposes).
